★ Hello August ★

How is it August already??? 2026 really needs to slow it down. Thanksgiving and Christmas are going to be here before we know it! 

For me August is the unofficial start of Fall. I will begin decorating my house this week (inside only for now). School goes back in a little less than two weeks here as well. Summer was fun but I am ready for cool temps, pumpkin patches, football and everything else Fall has to offer. 

Business-wise I have been a little lazy this summer. Time to get back into the swing of things and crack down on my lazy habits. I've been a little burnt out yet overwhelmed at the same time. Someone I watch on YouTube described how I have been feeling perfectly about a week ago - it really got me thinking about my own situation. Instead of worrying and focusing on all that I need to do I need to break and down to focus on one smaller project at a time. I am a type A personality, so I like to follow a set schedule. I need to work on setting a REALISTIC schedule for myself with my work. This I think has been my biggest issue. I try to schedule too much then get upset with myself when I don't get it done. It's just a vicious cycle.
