★ Hello August ★

Well, another month has come and gone! Summer is starting to wind down. School will be starting back up soon for most kids (I've seen a few posts on Facebook where they already started!) I can't image going back at the beginning of August. Seems too early to me but maybe these kiddos got out of school in late April or the start of May.

I am running behind this month with my beginning of the month activities. I am slowing getting caught up. Usually, we take our vacation in early June this year has been a bit different. We didn't do one weeklong trip instead we've scheduled three short getaways. Only problem is they have been back-to-back. A few days away then a few days home. We have our last one next week. As fun as they have been I can't wait to get back to normal. I like a set schedule!

I substitute teach part time and am looking forward to heading back. I miss seeing the students and can't wait to hear about their summers! I still have a few projects to get done workwise before all this begins in a few weeks. So much to do in so little time! I think this has become my motto! LOL

I am so ready for Fall - cooler temps, pumpkin patches, football, decorating my house, etc. I am not a hot weather person! Currently we are having fall like temps here but it's not going to last 100-degree heat indexes by the weekend. So over this!
